Every person is broken in different ways and degrees. Scripture is clear that all have sinned and continually need grace. But God’s forgiveness is not based on our effort; it is grounded in Christ’s sacrifice. Jesus bore the punishment we deserved, allowing God to remain both just and merciful.
Dr. Rocky Ramsey explains that Christ now serves as our defense attorney in heaven, silencing every accusation. When we confess our sin — agreeing that God is right and committing to change — He faithfully forgives and restores fellowship.
The message then turns to the breathtaking nature of God’s love. God knows everything about us — every thought, action, and motive — yet loves us fully. Our acceptance before Him rests entirely on Christ’s finished work, not our performance. Though sin can disrupt our fellowship with God, it can never break the relationship secured by Christ.
