On this episode, we discuss the management of endometriosis. We begin with some background information including risk factors, sign and symptoms, and more. Then we review the common first-line agents used, sometimes even before a definitive diagnosis via laparoscopy. We then compare and contrast more specialized treatment options including gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists with add-back therapy, gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonists, and androgen therapy.
