Show Notes

Welcome to another episode of the podcast. Today, on the podcast, I have an interview with Althea Brown. Born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, Althea Brown is the creator and voice behind metemgee.com, a blog about Guyanese (Caribbean) recipes and traditions. After struggling with acid reflux for years, Althea started exploring the possibility that the way she was eating was making her sick so she shifted her focus to recreate Guyanese and Caribbean recipes to be gluten-, dairy-, and refined-sugar-free. Althea now lives in Aurora, Colorado, with her husband and three children. Today on the podcast, we talk about how Althea started her blog, her book Caribbean Paleo, several delicious recipes from the book, and how she balances her online presence, blog, and book promotion while being a mom of three.
