Let’s say a miracle occurs in November and not only is Trump re-elected, but Republicans win supermajorities in both houses of Congress. What’s next? Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you look at what Republicans are doing in some states where they have 6-1 majorities in state senates, it should serve as a warning. The problem is not in the numbers; it’s in the Republicans themselves. Unless we change that, we will continue spinning our wheels.
