Governor Cuomo's initiative to "Reimagine Education" will not fix our broken education system. As I have highlighted before, our education system has fundamentally collapsed and in need of serious reform. However, the initiative to "Reimagine Education" is not the answer. Merging big government and big tech will completely destroy our education system. Rather than an education system built on learning, knowledge, social engagement, and the ability to think critically, it will be an education system built on obedience and compliance. Teachers do more than teach and technology cannot replace.
