We are prone to want some means of control over things that God has said he is responsible for, so we give time and emotional energy to them, resulting in a restless soul. If we choose to, we can calm and quiet our souls by giving our time and energy to the things God has assigned to us, while resting in his authority and faithfulness to handle the things that are too high for us.
