Show Notes

In this episode, we return to an unsolved missing persons case that has haunted a small Maine community for decades. In 1986, 17 year old Kim Moreau vanished from Jay, Maine, a quiet town in Franklin County. What began as a late night outing quickly turned into a mystery that has never been solved.

Joining the show are Kim’s father, Richard, and family friend Scott, who share the events leading up to Kim’s disappearance and the painful years that followed as the family searched for answers. Through their firsthand accounts, listeners hear about the night Kim got into a car with two older men, the conflicting timelines that followed, and the questions that still surround the investigation.

During the episode, we explore key details in the case, including the significance of a white vehicle, possible suspects, and the belief that Kim may still be somewhere close to where she was last seen. Decades later, her family continues to push for the truth and refuses to let the case fade into history.

If you follow true crime and unsolved mysteries, this is a case that deserves renewed attention. Someone out there may still hold the missing piece that could finally bring answers to Kim’s family.
