Show Notes
THIS IS AN ANNA WITH 2Ns EPISODE BEFORE I REBRANDED TO CONFIDENT BUSINESS ENGLISH. I RECOMMEND STARTING WITH THE MOST RECENT CONFIDENT BUSINESS ENGLISH EPISODES.
We talked about the 3rd conditional when expressing mistakes and regrets in business, now let's move on and tackle the 2nd conditional in a work context.
I'm sure you will be used to the "If I won the lottery, I would buy a mansion" example but there are much more uses of the 2nd conditional other than talking about these types of very unrealistic situations.
In the episode I'll talk about how we use the 2nd conditional for:
- Business problems
- Thinking about potential trends and impacts
- Negotiating
In 15 minutes I can only touch on each of those areas. To use conditionals well takes a lot of repetition and a bit of practice. The best part is there are rules to follow.
Enjoy! Anna
