THIS IS AN ANNA WITH 2Ns EPISODE BEFORE I REBRANDED TO CONFIDENT BUSINESS ENGLISH. I RECOMMEND STARTING WITH THE MOST RECENT CONFIDENT BUSINESS ENGLISH EPISODES.
What is a dump? Funny word actually. It can mean where you put rubbish i.e a rubbish dump. If you've spent any time on Instagram recently you likely have also seen the expression "photo dump".
I'm going to take that concept and apply it to business idioms. Here are the first round of 10 exceptionally useful English business idioms.
In part 1 we are going to look at 7 business idioms for Communication.
- To touch base
- To be in the loop
- To be out of the loop
- To loop me in
- Give me a shout
- Give me a heads-up
As I've always said, idioms and expressions are for generally more for understanding rather than using. Learn these ones and you know what people mean when they are talking to you and as a more advanced step, include them in your vocabulary.
