Ionic Rare Earths Ltd. is an Australian mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing its flagship Makuutu Rare Earths project towards production. The project consists of approximately five licenses covering approximately 242 km2 and is located 120 km east of the capital city of Kampala in eastern Uganda. The project mineralisation is primarily clay-type Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralization. The company is a member of the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
