Interview with John Black, CEO of Aldebaran Resources (TSX-V:ALDE)
Aldebaran Resources (ALDE) is a mining company focused on the exploration and development of mineral deposits. The company is currently working on its Altar project located in the San Juan Province of Argentina. The Altar project is a large copper porphyry deposit, and Aldebaran Resources has already established a significant resource estimate of approximately 1.2 billion tons with a copper equivalent grade of 0.5%.
Recent exploration activities, including a deep geophysical survey, have indicated the potential for additional mineralization beneath the currently modeled pit. The company has been drilling and releasing positive results, suggesting the presence of mineralization immediately beneath the pit. These findings have the potential to substantially increase the existing resource.
