Ep 176: TikTok & The Music Industry, Timothée in Cabo, Kourtney & Addison, Black Is King, Shane Dawson, Rob Kardashian is Back & More
EThere was a lottttt to get into this week. Emma and Julie kicked off the episode with the discussion on Shane Dawson's recent apology, the Smith family's response, and more. They then discussed the viral photos of Timothée Chalamet and new rumored girlfriend Eiza Gonz√°lez in Cabo. They highlighted some of the biggest winners from last night's BET awards, and examined the music industry's interesting relationship with TikTok. They also spoke about Michelle Obama presenting Beyoncé with the Humanitarian Award, and how she continues to change the game - most recently with the announcement of 'Black Is King.' In discussing Emma Roberts' pregnancy, they reflected on how the isolation of COVID can feel particularly anxiety-inducing as it relates to pausing dating life. Ariana Grande's relationship with Dalton Gomez was spoken about, as was her touching Father's Day post for her dad. Other topics discussed include: Yeezy x Gap, an entire TikTok update, Khloe's 36th Birthday, Kourtney/Scott & Coty's KKW Beauty acquisition. Ep 175: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 7 Recap
EEmma and Julie are back to recap another episode of Season 1 KUWTK. Nothing can compare to the sheer brilliance that was last week's episode, where Kourtney and Scott celebrated Kourt's negative pregnancy results in Vegas (and almost ended the weekend with a wedding,) but this was a close second. The episode centers around two main plotlines: Rob's dating life (or lack thereof), and Khloe's journey with Shorty, the homeless man who was outside of Dash. After following Rob on his date with Playboy Playmate Kara Monaco, the sisters get caught and cause some serious awkwardness. Then, Khloé, who initially is a bit insensitive to the situation, decided to take Shorty under her wing - complete with a makeover from Caitlyn's closet and a fresh set of dentures. We are, again, reminded of Kourtney's early KUWTK glory days, as she adds some serious flair to the episode. And, of course, there's just something about an '07 Rob Kardashian that makes you swoon. Ep 174: Chris D'Elia, MGK + Megan Fox, Beyoncé Black Parade, Angelina Jolie, A TikTok Update, Kourtney/Scott, & More.
EThis was quite a heavy week in celeb news. Emma and Julie begin with the allegations brought on Chris D'Elia, the outpouring of response, the victim's receipts, his statement, and the response of others close to him in Hollywood. They dig a little deeper into the male celebrity power struggle and the bravery of the victims. They also touch on other allegations that surfaced this week - including against the cast of Riverdale and Justin Bieber. They also explain Chelsea Handler's problematic Instagram post and read through some of her comments defending her decision to post it. They then gush over super hot couple Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox, celebrate Beyoncé's surprise drop of "Black Parade," give the latest update on G-Eazy and Ashley Benson, and Angelina Jolie's latest statements about Brad Pitt and their children. In epic TikTok news, they report on how a trend impacted Trump's rally in Tulsa, some of the latest drama with the biggest stars of the app, plus Addison Rae and Kourtney/Mason's friendship. The Kardashian recap includes Travis Scott's epic new Brentwood mansion, Kendall's collection for Kylie Cosmetics, KKW launching a podcast, and so much more. Ep 173: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 6 Recap
EGuys, this was a GOOD ONE. Emma and Julie continue their recaps of KUWTK Season 1, with this whirlwind of an episode. The episode centers around 2 main plots: Kourtney & Scott's budding relationship, and Kendall & Kylie's wish for a puppy. (Julie even recites the handwritten letter that her 11-year-old self wrote to her parents begging for a dog - it's gold.) It kicks off with Kourtney, who has been nauseous and hormonal, taking a pregnancy test. After an initially inconclusive result, which is later proven negative by a trip to the gynecologist, the family decides to take a celebratory trip to Vegas. Before they go, Kris gives in to Kendall & Kylie's wish, defying Caitlyn and buying them a new puppy. Leaving Kendall, Kylie, and Caitlyn at home, the rest of the family heads to Vegas...and things. got. ROWDY. Everyone is wasted, Scott semi-proposes to Kourtney, and they make it all the way to the infamous Little White Chapel before realizing that it was a bad idea. Back in Calabasas, Caitlyn finds out about the puppy, and is less than pleased. Ep 172: An Ode to Pete Davidson + Vanderpump, Matt James, OBX, TikTok, Kelly Clarkson, Dave Chappelle, RHONY, Khloé/Tristan & More
EThere was a lot to get into this week. First, Emma & Julie were so excited to share the news that, between CBC's donation and the generosity of their followers, they raised $25,000 for The Loveland Foundation - an organization that funds therapy for Black girls & women. They gave an update on the VPR scandal, including Stassi's pregnancy announcement & Faith's response. As The King Of Staten Island just came out on Friday, they talked at length about the movie, and their continued appreciation for Pete Davidson as a person. They spoke about Jay Pharoah's statement regarding his unfair treatment by the LAPD, and how it highlights the disgusting reality of racial profiling in our country. They also discussed Outer Banks' Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline confirming their relationship, and had a whole analysis on all the TikTok drama (Bryce/Addison, Hype House, etc.) Isabel then joined for a brief Bravo discussion, regarding Tinsley's RHONY departure and Andy Cohen confirming Lori Loughlin will not be joining RHOBH. In the award ceremony, Blake Griffin and Chelsea Handler took home the gold for "best clapback" and "funniest comment" of the week. In the Kardashian recap, they spoke about the possibility of Tristan and Khloe's rekindling. After, they were joined by E!'s Erin Lim, host of The Rundown & BingE! Club, for a discussion on Matt James, Kelly Clarkson, and the tragic death of Jas Waters. Ep 171: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1 Episode 5 Recap
EBefore they began the season 1 Episode 5 recap, Emma & Julie reflected on the past few weeks and discussed how the conversation and work need to continue - not just for them, but for all of us. They also highlighted some concrete changes that have resulted from all of the pressure being put on our officials. Clearly, there is so much work to do. But this momentum cannot slow down. This isn't a trend or moment in time, this is a huge change that has been a long time coming. This episode of KUWTK centered around the fourth anniversary of Robert Kardashian's death, and the emotions that came with it. This time of year is always difficult - for everyone, but specifically for Khloé. Her excessive drinking results in a DUI, where she spends the night in jail. Emma & Julie highlighted that moment and her release as a very most pertinent example of White privilege in action. Throughout the episode, we are brought on her emotional journey, and ultimately get to witness her getting in touch with what's really going on inside. Ep 170: Breaking It Down with Justin Sylvester (Lea Michele, Vanderpump Rules, Kanye, & More.)
EThis week, Emma and Julie are joined by co-host of E's Daily Pop, host of Just The Sip podcast, and one of their favorite people, Justin Sylvester. They started by continuing last week's discussion, with a conversation on what's happening in our country, the undeniable change that's coming, and Justin's experience at the LA protests. The celebrity portion of this episode was a little different than normal. Instead of their typical segments, they focused solely on the different celebrity news, both positive and negative, that's being highlighted as a result of the current focus on the racial injustice in our country. They discussed the allegations against Lea Michele, Vanderpump Rules' Stassi and Kristen's behavior towards Faith Stowers, Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams' relationship and his pledge for his daughter, and Kanye's contribution to some of the families affected by these tragic murders. Ep 169: Let’s Talk About It
EIn light of the tragic murder of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man killed by four Minneapolis police officers, Emma and Julie wanted to devote this week's episode to a very important discussion. They first spoke about the murder, and how it cannot be seen as an isolated incident, but rather a statement as to the prevalence of racial injustice and police brutality - disproportionately against black people - in our country. They then brought on Sierra Pannell, a 23-year-old young black woman, to engage in an impactful conversation. While they recognize it is not the job of black people to educate anyone, Emma and Julie firmly believe in the concept of giving space to those voices that aren't always heard. As you'll hear in the episode, they got to know Sierra back in February, and it was an honor to be able to share their platform with her. Emma and Julie then engaged in a conversation on white privilege, their experience in educating themselves on it, and how they can continue to learn more. Ep 168: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 4 Recap
EEmma and Julie are back for this week's throwback Kardashian episode recap. This episode follows Kim's journey to posing for the cover of Playboy Magazine. Following the theme of last week's Mexico trip, Caitlyn continues to be uncomfortable by the nature of this shoot. We watch as Kim gives Kris her very own Playboy spread, meets with Hugh Hefner to discuss nudity, and ultimately give us the iconic "you're doing amazing sweetie" line that will go down in the books. This episode has it all - mirrored LV totes, the Playboy mansion, and a young Rob. Ep 167: Call Her Daddy, Lana Del Rey, Harry Styles, Megan Fox, A RHOBH Debrief, Kardashian Recap & So Much More.
EEmma and Julie start today's episode breaking down everything you need to know about the latest drama between the Call Her Daddy podcast hosts and Barstool Sports - the key players, both sides, and the latest settlements. They then get into the latest with Mary-Kate Olsen's divorce, Drake's lyrics about Kylie, Kendall, and Gigi, Lana Del Rey's controversial statements, Lori Loughlin pleading guilty, Lady Gaga x Ariana Grande collab, Harry Styles' music video for Watermelon Sugar, and more. Isabel joins for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debrief (at 1:11:16). Ep 166: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 3 Recap
EEmma and Julie return for another epic throwback from KUWTK Season 1. This episode centers around the girls flying to 'Girls Gone Wild' founder Joe Francis' house in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, to model for a swimsuit photoshoot. Knowing Caitlyn wouldn't approve, Kris lies and says the girls are going on a weekend getaway for a little R&R. When Brody comes to the house the next day, he reveals - to Caitlyn's surprise - the truth about their trip. Caitlyn catches the next flight to PV to really get down to the bottom of it, leaving Brody to take care of Kendall and Kylie. Caitlyn's conservative attitude is in direct opposition to Kris, and her rather chill demeanor regarding the whole thing. This episode was a classic - from start to finish. Ep 165: G "Gerald" Eazy, The Olsen Twins, Mr. and Mrs. Bieber, A RHOBH Debrief, Tristan Thompson, & More

They then get into Mary-Kate Olsen's divorce, Justin and Hailey Bieber's adorable quarantine show, LeBron James' graduation ceremony, and more. Isabel joins them (at 32:00) for a recap on this week in Bravo news - and Tom Schwartz is honored with the first Bravo Comment of the Week. In the *official* awards ceremony, Kourtney Kardashian and Rihanna take home the gold for "best clapback" and "funniest comment" of this week. The Kardashian recap includes Tristan Thompson's paternity test, Khloé's tweets denying her rumored pregnancy, Larsa Pippen's latest comments on Jordyn Woods, and more. Ep 164: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 2 Recap
EDuring the KUWTK hiatus, Emma & Julie decided to take a trip down memory lane. They're continuing their season 1 coverage, now recapping Season 1, Episode 2 of KUWTK. This episode centers around Kim's growing frustration with Kris as her manager, and Caitlyn's lengthy responsibilities as it applies to taking care of the kids. Kendall and Kylie, 11 and 10 years old, are a lot to handle, so Kris decides to bring in some babysitting help in an effort to give Caitlyn some more free time. We all know how that turns out. We also see Kim seriously consider hiring another manager, interviewing none other than The Hills' Frankie Delgado. As usual, there is a never ending amount of now and then comparisons drawn, and 'what ifs' hypothesized about. The Effect of Organic Celebrity Endorsements on Small Businesses
EThis bonus episode is part of the Small Business Podference presented by Dell Technologies. As small business owners themselves, Emma and Julie wanted to put this topic in the context of their usual content: pop culture. In doing so, they examined how organic celebrity endorsements impact small businesses. They started with a discussion of some instances they've noticed themselves, and then got the chance to speak with three small business owners who have been directly impacted by these natural celebrity shoutouts. First, they spoke with Sarah Paiji Yoo, CEO and co-founder of eco-friendly cleaning brand, Blueland. In addition to being a Shark Tank success story, Blueland was notoriously (and organically!) tweeted about by Kim Kardashian West. They spoke to Sarah about the moment she saw that tweet, and the sales increase that transpired as a result of it. They also spoke with Merri Glecker, CEO & Owner of Kashwere - a lifestyle brand very close to Emma's heart - about the boost experienced by being featured on Oprah's favorite things. She recounted the phone call from Oprah, and what transpired in the following months. Lastly, they spoke with Jordan Nathan, Founder & CEO of Caraway Home, about his line of chemical free cookware and how influencer marketing has played into his business. *None of these small businesses paid to be included. They were all thoughtfully selected by Emma and Julie, based on their own fondness for and interest in the products.* See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Isabel hops on to ask Justin all of your burning questions about being a guest at the dinner party on this week's episode of RHOBH. Ep 161: Kardashian Bonus Show: Behind The Christmas Eve Party
EEmma and Julie are back to recap another episode of KUWTK. And this was a good one. The episode centers around the infamous Christmas Eve party, and the planning and logistics associated with it. This sparked some really interesting discussion as to what each family member prioritizes. The other main plot discussed was Scott's tragic loss of his parents and the way he is honoring their memory. The filler plot here was Khloe's brief stint as Kris's assistant, which honestly gave us some great insight into Kris's daily responsibilities and the Kylie cosmetics office. Ep 160: Too Hot To Handle Bonus Show with Francesca, Chloe, David & Sharron ft. Jerry O’Connell

They also talk to some of the cast members - Francesca, Sharron, Chloe, and David - about their experience at the retreat, filming the show, and what the reaction has been like since the show premiered. EEmma and Julie are back to give a scene-by-scene recap of Thursday night's KUWTK. As the majority of the family are Scorpios, this episode features a plethora of birthday celebrations. Kim's thoughtfulness is especially appreciated, as her sentimental birthday lunch for Kris left everyone in tears. These birthdays also allow us an unprecedented double scene appearance by Rob. Emma and Julie also analyze Khloe and Tristan's dynamic as it applies to her fertility journey, and what that could mean for their future. Corey finally got the Kardashian birthday treatment he deserves, with a spontaneous surprise trip to Napa. Lastly, and perhaps the most impactful part of the episode, we got to see the inner workings of Kim's efforts regarding Rodney Reed. Ep 156: Kardashian Bonus Show: Back to Cleveland We Go
EAs usual, Emma & Julie recapped Thursday night's KUWTK, scene by scene. While this episode wasn't as drama-filled as the first two, it definitely led to some interesting discussion. We got to see Khloé and Tristan's co-parenting dynamic play out, where a conversation arose as to her strong feelings on not 'blurring the lines.' Cleveland was also in focus this episode when Khloé brought True back to Tristan's home there. And of course, Emma & Julie's favor dynamic duo - Khloé & Scott - were at it again, in all their pranking glory. Ep 154: Kardashian Bonus Show: In Bed With Kris & Corey
EThis week's episode of KUWTK takes a totally different turn from the previous two with a much lighter tone. As per usual, Emma and Julie break it down scene-by-scene: from Kris' sexual antics with Corey, MJ and Kris trying to set Khloé up with a new man and get back in the dating game, Kim helping Scott prepare for a big speaking engagement, and so much more. This episode was far less intense than the last two week's, but it gave foundation for some deeper discussions: Kris/Corey's dynamic, Khloe & Tristan, Scott's progression, etc. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

They start by breaking down part 2 of the infamous Kourtney vs. Kim fistfight, and the major impact it had on the sister's relationships. They also discuss Kylie missing her big Balmain fashion show in Paris, Scott's involvement in the family feud, Kourtney and Kim's trip with all the kids to Armenia, and so much more. They finish with the sister intervention (hosted by the Haqq twins) to try and make peace, but it did not go according to plan.
