Michelle identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ family as intersex. In this podcast she shares her story of finding out that she is intersex at 15 and how her family navigated this time. After the death of her young son she realized that she needed to revisit this time of her life to explore the unexamined grief and shame around her diagnosis. Michelle has recently come out as a proud member of the intersex family.
