The winner takes a huge step in trying to break the seven-year drought the Pac 12 is in regarding the College Football Playoff.
The other big matchup breakdown concerns USC and Notre Dame, which features a pair of coordinators -- Trojans defensive coordinator Alex Grinch and Fighting Irish offensive coordinator Gerad Parker -- who could be battling for the right to keep their job.
