Big Ten semifinals, Pac-12 needs non-con games, contract madness

Dan Wetzel, Pete Thamel and SI’s Pat Forde begin with the news out west where the Pac-12 is now allowing its teams to schedule non-conference games this season. Just how likely is an Oregon vs BYU type showdown? The guys then turn their attention to the massive weekend in the Big Ten as #9 Indiana and #3 Ohio State square off for East supremacy and #10 Wisconsin and #19 Northwestern battle for the top spot in the West. Who will come out on top and race towards Indianapolis? We also saw a flurry of ridiculous buyouts and contract extensions at South Carolina, Tennessee and Wichita State. Pat, Pete and Dan rail on administrators' unbelievable habit of signing terrible contracts. On the hardwood, the NCAA released plans to host the entire tournament in the Indianapolis area. How likely is it we will even get there as we sit one week from tip-off? Make sure to stick around for the Race for the Case picks against the spread as the entire crew is now above .500 for the season. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
