Show Notes
Daeshun Ruffin, a five-foot-ten point guard from Mississippi, is entering the transfer portal after a standout career at Jackson State. He led the Southwest Athletic Conference with 23.3 points per game, along with 5.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.6 steals. Ruffin shot 42.6% from the field and 84.3% from the free-throw line. Despite injuries, he averaged 15.7 points per game as a junior and 23.3 as a senior. Kentuckys Mo Williams, who recently left Jackson State to join the Wildcats staff, could potentially recruit Ruffin. However, Ruffin will need an NCAA waiver to play next season at 26, as he has already used five college seasons across four years of play.
