Greg McDermott, Creightons longtime coach and Iowa native, announces retirement after 2026 season. Hes led Bluejays since 2010, posting 365-188 record, making him all-time wins leader. Creighton names Alan Huss as successor, who served as associate head coach. McDermotts tenure brought 10 NCAA Tournament appearances, including 3 Sweet Sixteens and an Elite Eight. His son Doug, a forward for Sacramento Kings, earned national player of the year honors under him at Creighton.
