Arizona State Universitys new mens basketball coach, Randy Bennett, is a Mesa native with deep local roots. Bennett, who grew up playing under his father, is the first Arizona-born coach for the Sun Devils since 1957. He spent 25 years at Saint Marys College, becoming the winningest coach in school history with a 72.1% win rate and 589 victories.
