Show Notes
Missouri womens basketball secures Grace Slaughter for another season, following her breakout 2025-2026 campaign. The all-SEC standout, capable of playing every position, takes center stage in her second year under coach Kellie Harper. Slaughter, a Missouri native, is just seven hundred points from the programs all-time scoring record. She set career highs last year with 18.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, ranking 6th and 13th in the SEC. Slaughters leadership shone as the go-to scorer, especially with thin frontcourt depth. She grabbed ten career double-doubles, including eight this season. Her career-best 33 points helped beat Northwestern, and 31 more secured a big upset over Mississippi State. With the second and third scorers gone, Slaughter is the only double-digit returner, setting up Missouri for a bigger push next year.
