Houston Cougars freshman point guard Kingston Flemings made history by earning a spot on the John R. Wooden All-America Team, becoming the first freshman in program history to achieve this honor. Despite the teams Sweet Sixteen exit in the NCAA Tournament, Flemings had a breakout season, breaking Houston freshman records with 594 points and leading all freshmen in assists. He averaged 16.1 points, 5.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, topping the team in scoring 21 times and scoring a career-high 42 at Texas Tech. Flemings impressive performance earned him second-team honors from various groups and made him a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award. Looking ahead, Flemings maintains a solid GPA and is projected to be a top lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
