Michael Gove was quizzed by Laura Kuenssberg on the sting operation by Led By Donkeys, which showed five Tory MPs asking for hefty sums on second jobs. He also defended Boris Johnson on partygate and the government's proposed ban on nitrous. Lucy Powell, shadow culture secretary, said that the government was putting the BBC under threat and agreed with the World Athletics Federation's decision to ban trans women from women's sports.
