Show Notes
I was reading a passage from Brian Johnson’s book “Arete” and it’s all about having “Rebound Days”. It’s all about bouncing back from tough days. Great quote from George Leonard, where he reminds us to have a “willingness to take one step back for every two forward, sometimes vice-versa.” It’s a key to simply understand that this happens to everyone and at times, it’s taking 4 or 5 steps backwards then going sideways and then eventually going in a forward direction. I was connecting with Jon Gordon too (@JonGordon11) and he had a leadership training session the past two days - free too! Those things are out there my friends. We need to keep investing in ourselves so that when we do get knocked backwards and down in life (which we will), we will have the sense, confidence and the tools to get back up and get going again. Great stuff is out there. Find it. Keep connecting with it - it’s worth it!! Thanks for listening.
