From the book “The Traveler’s Gift” by Andy Andrews - from the 3rd Decision for Success - “I am a person of action”, comes this important reminder about Leadership. “As a leader, I have the ability to encourage and inspire others to greatness.” I have some notes written all over this book and the note near this underlined sentence that I wrote is “it’s really a duty to do this. I must also encourage myself.” Another note that I wrote is that “there is a HUGE need in the world for leaders (focusing in on Character and Serving.) To me, it’s just a great reminder that since we are leaders for ourselves first, that we need to fit into that it’s a duty to encourage & inspire others including ourselves. It’s not enough that we have the ability to do these, I think it’s a must for us to do these. Thanks for listening.
