Took some great notes from a guest speaker in my Leadership class yesterday. Mark Hackel - Macomb County Executive & a good friend for more than 31 years - he reminded me about the importance of finding and connecting with our purpose / passion in life. He also brought up the question about our "dash". On our headstones when we die - there is our date of birth, the date of our death..... and in the middle is one simple character = The Dash. It's always a good idea to try and reflect on that often, so we can make some course adjustments about how we are spending, wasting, or investing our time. Check out the Dash Poem HERE.
