Important & easy topic of always being open to learning throughout life. But it's coming at you from a tough reminder. A former student of mine passed away from cancer. She was in her early - mid twenties. She left a huge impact on others from her radiant smile and laughter, to her genuine care for others. It's a part of life I know, but still difficult to grasp onto. She taught me about bravery, courage, laughter, not giving up, caring for and loving others, etc. So many people have taught me these and other important lessons - all to many former students that have passed away over the years. We all have those same lessons from others passing away that we knew in our lives. It's important not to let those lessons go unnoticed. The other part came from this outstanding podcast from John O'Leary interviewing Chelsey Goodan on the subject of "stop underestimating the teenagers in your life". Listen to this episode HERE.
