Birthright citizenship order blocked, flood death toll rises, ceasefire optimism & more

A judge has agreed to issue a new nationwide block on President Donald Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship. The number of confirmed deaths from flooding in Texas has risen again. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has met with Russia’s top diplomat to talk peace in Ukraine. Rubio is also showing some hope for a ceasefire deal for Gaza.
