Andrea Wenzel, an associate professor at Temple University and former journalist, discusses her new book, “Antiracist Journalism: The Challenge of Creating Equitable Local News."

Several news stories in Georgia made national headlines in 2023, including the ongoing efforts to build a police and fire training center in Atlanta, the Georgia election interference case, the passing of former first lady Rosalynn Carter and so much more. Rose talks with Americus Times-Recorder reporter Joshua Windus, Capital B Atlanta's criminal justice reporter Madeline Thigpen and Atlanta Community Press Collective editor Matt Scott about some of the top stories of 2023, the stories they’re following in 2024, and their approach to covering the news.
