In 2019, the Brennan Center for Justice released the State Supreme Court Diversity. The report outlined racial, ethnic and gender disparities on state high courts across the United States. Georgia State Law professor Tanya Washington, Jonathan Rapping and Ilham Askia, of Gideon's Promise, join "Closer Look." They talk with show host Rose about what newly updated data reveals about the state of diversity as it relates to state supreme courts.
