Show Notes

The Atlanta Civic Center site has set empty for several years after several redevelopment plans have fallen through. Eugene Jones, the president and CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority, discusses what’s next after Tishman Speyer recently withdrew its deal to redevelop the Old Fourth Ward building.

We then revisit Rose’s conversation with Nikole Hannah-Jones. The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, and a staff writer for The New York Times Magazine, discusses the 1619 Project and the academic concept CRT (critical race theory).
