Fearless Fund, an Atlanta-based, Black-owned and women-led venture capital firm is being sued by the conversative nonprofit American Alliance for Equal Rights, citing that the firm is violating the 1866 Civil Rights Act. Mirtha Donastorg, an economy and business reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and a corps member with Report for America, has been reporting on the developing case and discusses the latest.

Plus, for nearly 50 years, the American Cancer Society has hosted the Great American Smokeout in an effort to encourage people to quit smoking. Dr. Bruce Waldholtz, an American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network board member, discusses the annual initiative.
