Show Notes

Severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds expected in Northern Ohio today, mainly from mid-morning to late afternoon. Warmer temperatures fueling instability, with scattered activity possible through early evening. Biggest threats target Knox to Mahoning counties for hail, strong winds along and south of U.S. Route 30. Places south of Clevelands latitude face top overall risk, but isolated storms may pop up farther north. Sharp cool-down expected behind the front, with overnight lows dipping into the upper twenties to mid-thirties. Winds switching to northerly, stirring up waves on Lake Erie to three or four feet. Forecasters urge close monitoring of updates, as conditions can change quickly.
