On March 19th, a Middletown, Ohio police officer responded to a disturbance call, striking a pedestrian on Grand Avenue. The officers lights and sirens were off, as per protocol. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive. The incident is under investigation by the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team and Middletown police.
