Three Ohio Air National Guard airmen, Captain Seth Koval, Captain Curtis Angst, and Master Sergeant Tyler Simmons, will be returning home this weekend after their KC-135 Stratotanker crashed in Iraq on March 12th. The dignified arrival will take place at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base near Columbus, where they served with the one twenty-first Air Refueling Wing. The crash resulted in six fatalities during Operation Epic Fury, with the exact cause still under review. The airmen, who had strong ties to Ohio, will be honored with growing community support.
