Explosion at Holmes Custom Moulding: Six Injured in Ohio Plant Fire
Six individuals were hurt in a blast and fire at a wood-products plant in Holmes County, Ohio. The incident occurred at Holmes Custom Moulding on County Road one twenty. Sparks from a defective belt sander ignited the sawdust collection system, leading to the explosion.
Firefighters from East Holmes Fire and EMS arrived at the scene following reports of a structure fire and explosion. They found multiple burn victims and requested additional ambulances.
