World Vision - What does daily care look like inside a health clinic in South Sudan?

What does it look like to show up for families fleeing war—every single day? For Amalia, it looks like this ... Every day, she serves at a transit center— supporting families arriving with urgent needs, offering care, coordination, and steady presence in uncertain moments. Humanitarian work isn’t always loud. Often, it’s made up of small, consistent acts— listening, helping, showing up again the next day. Behind every response effort are people like Amalia, working to bring dignity, care, and stability where it’s needed most. South Sudan Leju Alan Roba (03/10/2026)

Crazy Love Podcast - Staff Talks with Francis: Embracing the Unseen

What are we actually coming for when we gather?

For many of us, church has become something we can predict - good music, a thoughtful message, a meaningful moment or two. And while none of that is bad, it’s possible to walk away satisfied… without ever encountering the presence of God.

In this message, Francis Chan challenges us to rethink what we expect when we come together. He reminds us that we were never meant to be consumers of information, but stewards of the mysteries of God.

There are realities in our faith that can’t be manufactured or explained - only experienced. A living Word that searches the heart. A Spirit who imparts gifts and transforms from within. A mysterious work that happens when believers gather in love, break bread, and wait on Him.

But if we’re not careful, we’ll trade that mystery for something more controllable - something safer.

This episode is an invitation to lift our expectations, release our need to manage the outcome, and rediscover a faith that is not just understood… but experienced.

The Called to Flourish Podcast - Data-Driven Leadership: How Facing the Truth About Culture Builds Trust and Strengthens Your Church — Brad Cooper, NewSpring Church

How to Study the Bible - Bible Study Made Simple - "I Believe, Help My Unbelief" What We Learn from This Honest Prayer | Mark 9

Have you ever found yourself saying, I want to believe — I really do — but there's this part of me that just... doesn't? That is exactly where we land in Mark chapter 9 today, and friend, you are in good company.

We're wrapping up our mini-series on confusion to clarity, and this week we're sitting with one of the most honest prayers in all of Scripture — just six words: I do believe. Help my unbelief. It comes from a desperate dad who has been fighting for his son, who tried everything, even coming to Jesus's disciples, and still walked away empty-handed. And yet, in that moment of raw honesty with Jesus, healing happens anyway.

Here's what I love about this story: the man's unbelief did not stop Jesus from acting. Jesus doesn't need our perfect faith. He needs our whole heart — the good stuff and the doubt, the confidence and the fear. That's what wholehearted really means.

We also talk about why the disciples couldn't drive out the spirit — and what Jesus's answer ("this kind only comes out by prayer") tells us about the interior life Jesus is calling us to. Spoiler: our spiritual power doesn't come from doing more. It comes from being with our Heavenly Father.

And we close out the chapter with Jesus flipping the script on greatness — anyone who wants to be first must be last and servant of all. Because the way of Jesus isn't power. It's humility. It's vulnerability. And it is a full, beautiful, rigorous life of discipleship.

Want More?

Check out Nicole's website and subscribe to her weekly newsletter: https://nicoleunice.kit.com/

Read along: Mark 9 (and review Mark 8 to catch up on last week's episode)

Miss last week? Equip & Empower Podcast with Christine Caine - EP 389: You Need More Than Good Intentions: What Jesus Told The Disciples To Wait For

Transforming the Church with Dr. Derwin L Gray - Growing as a Leader Is Not Optional - It's Your Calling

Summary:

What does it truly mean to grow as a leader? In a powerful message, Pastor Derwin draws from his unique experience as a former NFL player to deliver a compelling truth: leadership growth is not optional—it's a divine calling. He challenges us with the stark reality that, like his former defensive coordinator taught him, "You're either getting better or getting worse; there's no staying the same." Through vivid analogies, from golf swings to weight training, Pastor Derwin illustrates how true leadership development demands both smart work and hard work, all fueled by God's grace. He emphasizes that leadership isn't merely about influence, but about "being and doing what you want others to be and do." At the heart of his message lies three crucial questions every leader must confront: Do you really want to grow? Are you willing to work smart and hard? Will you boldly apply what you're learning? The urgency is clear—the world needs leaders who reflect Christ's beauty and glory, and transformation begins with the courage to answer these questions honestly and take action today.

What You'll Learn:

Why leadership growth is a calling, not an option, for every follower of Jesus

The difference between working hard and working smart—and why both matter

How to identify and overcome the areas where you're stuck as a leader

Why growth requires discomfort, sacrifice, and intentional action

The ACTION acronym for catalytic leadership (Active, Catalytic, Trustworthy, Invest, Organize, Now)

How to move from consuming leadership content to actually applying it

Why grace, not striving, is the fuel for sustainable leadership growth

Quotes:

"You're either getting better or you're getting worse. There's no staying the same."

"Growing as a leader is not optional. It's your calling."

"You can work hard doing the wrong things. We don't want to work hard doing the wrong thing. We want to work hard in God's grace on the things that he's called us to do the right way at the right time."

"Growth doesn't happen through information. Growth happens through transformation. And transformation happens only when you take action."

"Leader, you are appointed and you are anointed. The Holy Spirit is in you. You've been called. You've been positioned. God has entrusted people and influence to you. And the question is, will you do it?"

PODCAST RESOURCES

• More from Derwin: www.derwinlgray.com and www.transformationchurch.tc/podcast

• Subscribe on Apple Podcasts

• Subscribe on Spotify

• Subscribe on YouTube

• Subscribe on Amazon Music

• The ChurchLeaders Podcast Network

CONNECT WITH DERWIN

• Facebook: www.facebook.com/derwinlgray

• Instagram: @derwinlgray

RATE, LEAVE A REVIEW, & SHARE

If you’ve been impacted by this podcast, please leave a rating and a review, and share with someone in your life.

Loud And Clear - Meet Sharon Toerek: Legal Paths to AI Compliance Profit

In this episode of the LERMA/ podcast Loud and Clear (Season 8), host Francisco Cardenas speaks with Sharon Toerek, a legal expert in advertising, marketing, and technology, about how AI is reshaping the creative supply chain faster than policy and contracts can keep up. They discuss how generative AI changes agency risk—especially around intellectual property ownership, disclosure, liability for inadvertent infringement, and evolving NIL (name, image, likeness) concerns highlighted by recent talent union negotiations and emerging regulations in New York and California. Toerek explains why agencies must lead client education, align with brand risk profiles, and update MSAs and internal/external AI policies, noting that purely AI-generated deliverables can’t be copyrighted. They also explore AI’s potential to level the playing field for independent agencies, the pressure to move away from hourly billing toward outcome- and usage-based models, and the growing complexity of business affairs negotiations around AI manipulation rights.

Relevant links:

https://legalandcreative.com/

email: [email protected]

Guests:

Sharon Toerek, Owner and Founder -Legal+Creative | Toerek Law

Producers:

Victor Cornejo Tell Me More Studios & Pranav Kumar at LERMA/

Executive Producer:

Barbara Dauajare, Agency Growth Manager, LERMA/

Hosts:

Francisco Cardenas, Executive Director, Brand Integration at LERMA/

Lead Like Jesus: Leadership Starts on the Inside - Lead Like Jesus: The Heart of Leadership

A changed heart means a changed leader. You are a leader who truly wants to lead like Jesus, the greatest leadership role model of all time—but you don’t. Why? Paul had the same problem. He articulated his frustration perfectly in Romans 7:15: “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do.” Does this sound familiar to you? What is in the heart determines why we do what we do; our hearts are the source of our motivations. What motivates you to lead others? Is your leadership about you? We continue to see that the most persistent barrier to leading like Jesus is a heart motivated by self-interest.
