In 2003 I teamed up with professional paranormal investigator Chad Lewis to conduct a graveyard ghost investigation in the city of Appleton Wisconsin. This graveyard held many stories within its gates. One of the most famous was that of a woman named Kate blood. There are many myths and legends surrounding Kates death, but the biggest part of her intrigue resides with the gravestone that marks her final resting place.This gravestone is said to actually “bleed” if certain words are spoken around the grave at select times of the year. This is one of those “tall tales” that you hear in the paranormal community in my opinion. But nonetheless an interesting story.Our investigation took place on in early October evening with a full moon in the sky. The graveyard was lit up almost as clear as day. Because of the intense light from the moon a bit of the creepy mystique of being in a cemetery after dark was removed. However that eerie feeling was not far off as we ventured into a set of grottoes hidden in the woods lining a river bank.
