Washington’s Electric Vehicle rebate program fell far short of expectations, delivering just one cent of environmental benefit per dollar spent. A new Washington Policy Center report questions the cost-effectiveness of the program, which fell well below sales projections and led to high per-ton CO2 reduction costs.
