US Implements New 10 Percent Global Tariff On Imports

The United States has imposed a new 10 per cent tariff on imports overnight, following a ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States that struck down President Donald Trump’s previous trade measures. While the rate is lower than the 15 per cent he had threatened, there’s still significant uncertainty about how these new tariffs will operate — and what they could mean for Irish exporters.
