Seachtain na Gaeilge is set to bring a vibrant, county-wide celebration of the Irish language to communities right across Clare. This year, Clare County Council, in partnership with An Clár as Gaeilge, Clare GAA, Clare Libraries and Conradh na Gaeilge, has launched a co-ordinated programme of events — creating one shared calendar to encourage people of all ages and levels of Irish to get involved. On Friday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey welcomed Ruairí Henchy, Irish Language Development Officer and Communications Officer with Clare County Council, and Leah Ní Thailtigh, Language Planning Officer with An Clár as Gaeilge and Irish and Cultural Officer with Clare GAA.
