CCTV systems aimed at identifying the perpetrators of illegal dumping are set to be rolled out at two locations in Clare.
The surveillance cameras will be installed at sites in Kilrush and in the east of the county in May as part of a pilot project.
The local authority is set to open the process to public consultation in the coming weeks, with a view to rolling out more systems at blackspots countywide.
