Clare camogie boss Eugene Foudy is hailing the character his side showed to avoid defeat in round 1 of the National Camogie League.
The Banner came way from Abbotstown with a draw in their Division 1B opener against Dublin who were relegated from the top tier last year.
Clare twice trailed in additional time at the end of the second half, however scores from Lorna McNamara and Aoife Anderson brought Clare level both times.
Foudy says his side never faltered when it looked like things were going against them.
