An event will take place in Clare's capital today to mark four years since Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine.
Crowds will gather at the O'Connell monument in Ennis from 1pm to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
There are currently 4,962 Ukrainian refugees living in Clare, while the ongoing conflict has to date cost hundreds of thousands of lives.
Mariya Nikishanova who's originally from Irpin but living in Ennis says they're determined to stay strong.
