Irish consumer confidence has edged up again this month, reaching its highest level in almost a year — but the overall mood remains cautious. While worries about jobs and the wider economy have eased slightly, many households are still feeling the pressure of rising costs, and most expect inflation and house prices to be even higher five years from now.
