Claims State Investment Plan "Will Benefit Clare's Hard Working"

It's claimed the state's new savings scheme will benefit hard working people in Clare. The details of the new plan, which is expected to be included in the next budget have been unveiled today and include a tax-free investment options and an exemption from Capital Gains Tax on returns. Tánaiste and Finance Minister Simon Harris is facing criticism from opposition, however, for encouraging people to invest rather than save amidst the cost of living crisis. Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Cooney has been telling Clare FM's Daragh Dolan that he believes the move will benefit all households.
