CIÉ Tours is helping “moo-ve” conservation forward in the Burren! Thanks to funding from their Sustainability Action Fund, ReFarm Burren has fitted 108 cattle with musical GPS collars, creating virtual “fences” that keep animals safe while protecting the unique flowers and habitats of the region.
Farmers can now manage grazing remotely, without traditional fencing, letting species like gentians and orchids thrive.
