New figures from FASD Ireland reveal that 57% of children referred in the first three months of 2026 showed evidence of prenatal alcohol exposure, highlighting serious concerns about undiagnosed Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and the urgent need for improved awareness, diagnosis and support services across Ireland.
