5th Class CBS Primary Ennis Students Win Top Prize At National Intel Mini Scientist Finals

We are celebrating some brilliant young minds from CBS Primary Ennis who have put Ennis firmly on the national science map! Three 5th class students; Francisco “Frankie” Giudici, Sam O’Neill and Aidan Hehir have just been crowned overall winners of the Intel Mini Scientist Competition, beating more than 5,000 students from 75 schools across the country. Their award-winning project explored how a catapult works, diving into the science of kinetic and potential energy and impressing judges at the Grand Final in Dublin. Alan Morrissey was delighted to chat with them on Friday's Morning Focus.
