"Waging Change" documents worker movement to end the tipped minimum wage

In Waging Change, a new documentary from filmmaker Abby Ginzberg, workers explain the toll the tipped minimum wage of $2.13 an hour takes on their finances, safety, and families. Ginzberg and Saru Jayaraman, co-founder of the Restaurant Opportunities Centers United and co-founder and president of One Fair Wage, talked with Civic about how the income inequities that come with the tipped minimum wage are directly linked to sexual harassment and racial discrimination in the workplace.
