Driverless cars are unlikely to appear anytime soon. That's the opinion of Patrick McGinty, an English professor at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, who has written a full syllabus for his students on autonomous vehicles.
McGinty's upcoming novel, Test Drive, explores some of the questions provoked by the emergence of autonomous vehicles, while prompting us to wonder if they are genuinely a good thing. Besides offering his take on the auto sector, McGinty also explains a soul-searching journey to crypto-scepticism, which he has written about previously in his article Everywhere in Blockchains.
