Show Notes

District Attorney Larry Krasner defeated Pat Dugan in the Democratic race for district attorney. Dugan spent more money on the campaign than Krasner, but the two-term incumbent leaned on his record as a progressive prosecutor and the city's lowest murder rate in a half-century. With no one running on the Republican ticket, this paves the way for Krasner to secure a third term as D.A. in the November general election. Tune into today’s episode of City Cast Philly as host Trenae Nuri and executive producer Matt Katz breakdown the results of the primary election.

The episode was recorded at 11p.m. on Tuesday May 20th.
